A slightly more affordable mask is the KM Elite Fly Mask. Similar in design, the KM Fly Mask has the option of a horse mask with or without nose, yet all come with ears. For horses that prefer the option of no ears, simply take a sharp pair of scissors  and carefully cut the ears off. Please note. It is worth trying the mask on your horse with the ears, as the fabric is pleasantly soft, and will not rub your horses ears.

The Kentucky Fly Mask is a new to the market in the recent years and has already become a favourite with both professional and amateur riders. Made from a sprung loaded mesh, the fly mask is kept away from the horses eyes. Should the horse lean on the mask, the eye netting just springs back out into shape. The rest of the mask is made from a soft and comfortable Lycra. As a result this gives a soft and comfortable fit that prevents flies from getting up behind the mask.
