The Trust Leather Full Cheek Snaffle uses a reinforced flexible nylon core, with naturally tanned leather stitched over the mouth piece. The leather encourages the horse to salivate and as a result softens the leather in the mouth.
The softer mouthpiece and pleasant taste is believed to make the bit more accepted by the horse and is often favoured by young horses and horses that have become bored by their bit.
The Trust Leather Full Cheek Snaffle is kind on the horses cheeks as the cheek piece prevents pinching on the sides of the mouth.
