Bridle Cheekpieces
The cheekpieces here come from Dy’on and run across the brand’s four bridle lines: the Dy’on Collection with cream stitching and brass buckles, the New English Collection with matching coloured stitching and stainless steel hardware, the US Collection with cream stitching and stainless steel hardware, and the Working Collection, which is the only set built from buffalo leather rather than the Grade 1 Catalan European cow leather used across the other three. Each set replaces a worn cheekpiece or builds up a new bridle alongside the matching headpieces, nosebands, and browbands from the same line.
Alongside the standard cheekpieces, three specialist formats are stocked. Gag rope cheekpieces combine leather with a 4mm nylon rope and removable rings, threaded through the gag bit and looped over the ring without stitching or screws, and are available across all four Dy’on lines. Double bridle cheek pieces convert any compatible bridle into a double bridle, with the New English version using a half-inch leather cheek where the curb adjusts on the headpiece and the snaffle adjusts on the curb cheek. Hackamore cheekpieces match the Dy’on hackamore bridle range, using the same Grade 1 Catalan leather with cream stitching and brass buckles as the Dy’on Collection.
Standard cheekpieces are stocked in Pony (6½”), Cob (7½”), Full (8½”), and Extra Full (9½”) sizes in black or brown across the range. For broader bridle replacement, the wider bridlework section covers complete bridles, reins, and bridle accessories from the same Dy’on collections.
