Transport & Therapy

The transport and therapy range is anchored by Kentucky Horsewear and covers four use cases on one page. Travel protection is led by the Kentucky Travel Boots and the 3D Spacer Travel Boots (front and hind), both built around shock-absorbing layers with three Velcro closures and artificial leather pastern reinforcement, with the 3D Spacer adding a highly breathable spacer fabric for longer journeys. The Stable Boots PROtect Classic and Long versions (front and hind, the Long adding carpal joint cover) take the same protection principles into the stable, using a compressive ergonomic fabric to support circulation while horses are confined.

Cold therapy covers two formats: the Kentucky Cryo Ice Boots wrap the full lower leg for targeted cold therapy after work, and the Finntack Pro Cooling Ice Wraps store flat in the freezer and apply over heat or swelling after cross-country or jumping. For magnetic therapy, the Recuptex Magnetic Stable Boots use a textile with woven magnetic properties to stimulate circulation overnight in the stable, sitting alongside the wider magnetic boots and wraps range.

Hoof and skin protection rounds out the collection. The Medical and Ice Hoof Boots and Kentucky Sole Tape handle medical bandage work and keep the hoof clean during recovery, the Tendon Grip is an elasticated tubular bandage worn under boots that also holds ice packs in place, the Tendon Grip Gel Sock pairs with overreach boots to protect sensitive heel bulbs, and the Therapeutic Wool uses 100% sheep wool with natural lanolin for horses with mud fever or skin irritation. The wider horse leg protection range covers bandages and rigid tendon boots alongside.

Gel liners limit swelling in the cannon bone when the horse stands still for several hours.

Quality designs reach the floor at the heel and curve under the pastern, guarding against slipping off tailboards.

Shake out bedding, then hang them in cab warmth with toe ends down so trapped water drains fast.
