The breakaway neck piece is a replacement PVC leather headpiece designed to fit Kentucky’s nylon halter and engineered to break under sustained pressure, releasing the head collar if a horse gets caught during turnout. It’s the part typically replaced after a breakaway has been triggered, rather than swapping out the whole head collar, and is adjustable on both sides for a tidy fit. The sheepskin padding set is an artificial sheepskin kit that attaches to any head collar by Velcro across the noseband and cheek contact areas, designed for sensitive horses prone to rubbing and for protecting a leather head collar from sweat and dirt build-up. The padding is machine washable at 30°C and stocked in colour options that coordinate with both natural and leather head collar finishes.
