Bandages

The bandages here are anchored by Kentucky Horsewear and split into three main groups by intended use. Exercise and work bandages cover the Polar Fleece Bandages, the Combination Exercise Bandages (polar fleece backed by an elasticated support panel), the Elastic Bandages, the Repellent Work Bandages, and the Polar Fleece Show in vegan wool, all 280 g/m² and built to support the tendons during schooling, jumping, or polo. Stable and travel bandages cover the Repellent Stable Bandages, which use a tight smooth-fibre knit that physically repels shavings, and the Kentucky Travel Bandages, a heavier wool-acrylic mix four metres long and five inches wide for boxing up. Most exercise sets come in a zipped storage case and are machine washable at 30°C.

Decorative polar fleece options cover the Velvet, Pearls, Velvet Pearls, and Glitter Exercise Bandages, all built on the same 280 g/m² anti-pilling base and intended to colour-match Kentucky’s saddle pads and fly veils for riders following the matchy-matchy approach to turnout. Two specialist products round out the collection: the Kentucky Tendon Grip is an elasticated tubular bandage worn under boots to prevent rubbing and to hold ice packs in place after cross-country, and the Gel-Eze Protective Under Bandage from Gel-Eze acts as an impact-absorbing layer that doubles as a cold compress when chilled. The Grooming Deluxe Bandage Holder, a wall-mountable bamboo rack from Grooming Deluxe that stores up to eight bandages, also sits in the collection for tack room organisation.

Bandages are typically used over a quilted or absorbent pad, so the matching bandage pads and leg wraps sit alongside as a direct pairing. For more rigid protection or sport-specific cover, the wider horse leg protection range covers brushing and exercise boots, tendon boots, fetlock boots, overreach boots, and magnetic boots and wraps for therapy work.
