Horse Reins
The reins collection is anchored by Dy’on, one of the standout bridlework brands in the premium equestrian market. The range is split across four collections, each with a distinct character and price point, so there is a Dy’on rein to suit everyday schooling as well as the competition ring.
The Working Collection is the practical starting point, offering soft rubber reins in both 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch widths with options for plain stoppers or leather loops. These are built for daily use and represent excellent value without compromising on quality. Moving up the range, the Dy’on Collection, New English Collection, and US Collection all bring in Grade 1 Catalan leather, signature cream stitching, and brass or stainless steel buckle hardware. Within those tiers you will find straight rubber reins, half-rubber hunter reins, web reins with leather loops, laced reins, plaited-finish reins, and converter reins designed for use with a Pelham or gag bit. Width choices across the collections run from 1/2 inch through to 5/8 inch, covering most preferences for contact feel and hand position.
For riders building or replacing a complete set of tack, the reins sit naturally alongside Dy’on bridles, browbands, and nosebands which share the same cream stitching details and leather quality. If you also use training aids, the draw reins and breastplates and martingales sections carry further Dy’on options. Good riding gloves will also help maintain feel and grip regardless of which rein style you choose.
