Nosebands
Horse Nosebands
The nosebands here are led by Dy’on, whose range covers the main noseband styles used across dressage, showjumping, and eventing. All are made from premium Grade 1 Catalan leather with the brand’s signature cream stitching and brass or stainless steel hardware, so they sit comfortably within the wider Dy’on bridlework range.
The collection spans a broad range of styles. Flash nosebands come in both standard and anatomically shaped versions, with some featuring a removable flash strap for flexibility. Drop nosebands are available in plain and rope crank formats, the latter using a waxed rope section for a more precise, even contact along the nasal bone. For showjumping and eventing, grackle nosebands offer the figure-of-eight configuration that crosses above and below the bit, with sheepskin padding at the bridge. Rope cavessons and leather-covered rope nosebands are also in the range for those who prefer a rounder, softer contact, while the anatomic versions across the Dy’on Collection and US Collection are shaped to sit clear of the infraorbital nerve. The double noseband, which combines a cavesson and drop in one piece, is the option for riders wanting the most precise control over jaw movement.
Nosebands are sold separately from bridles and headpieces, which makes it straightforward to replace or upgrade individual components. If your current bridle uses a flash attachment, replacement flash noseband straps are also stocked separately. For a coordinated look throughout, the matching browbands and horse reins from the same Dy’on collections are well worth browsing alongside.
