The Bombers Happy Tongue Loose Ring has to be one of our most popular bits in the horse world. Dressage Approved. The Happy Tongue mouth piece is an excellent horse bit. A great solution for a horse that may shake its head when pressure is applied to the bit via the reins. A classic head shake, can often be a sign of a horse with a sensitive tongue that does not like tongue pressure. Another sign to look out for in a horse that does not like tongue pressure is that the horse will often try to put its tongue over the bit, again to relieve the pressure.
With this in mind the brilliant Happy Tongue was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue. This relieves the pressure, allowing the horse to loose ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure which will reset the bit in the horses mouth.

Should my Bombers Bit rust?
The Bombers Happy Tongue Loose Ring mouthpiece is made with original sweet iron. This helps encourages salivation, thanks to the oxidation of the metal as it becomes exposed to the horses saliva and air. As a result the sweet iron helps better acceptance of the bit and also offers a sweet taste to the horse as it rusts up.
Is the rust dangerous to my horse?
The rust that is produced by the sweet iron bits is not dangerous to your horse. If the rust is not to you liking, you can get a soft emery cloth and rub the rust off. Wipe the mouth piece down so that it is free from the rust. Please note the blue will disappear after a few weeks of use and the rust will return..
