Red Ribbon with Clip
A horse that has a red ribbon tied to its tail is used to notify other horse riders and horse owners that the horse may lash out or kick out unexpectedly, so be aware. Red ribbons tied in and around the horses mane or bridle area, is to warn oncoming or passing traffic that you should give the horse extra room, due to the horse showing signs of nervousness, increased stress, or is prone to reacting if vehicles are to close to it.
