The inside of this Kentucky Horsewear Under Rug Skin Friendly features artificial rabbit skin, which prevents rubbing and is ideal for horses with sensitive or clipped skin. It’s designed to not retain odors and can be easily paired with other Kentucky rugs and other branded rugs comfortably underneath. Additionally, it’s machine washable for convenience.
This cozy, skin-friendly under rug is specially designed for horses with sensitive skin. It can be combined with other rugs, allowing for customization according to your horse’s needs.
The exterior of the under rug is crafted from polyester microfiber, with a sanded yarn for a soft, cotton-like feel. The popular artificial rabbit skin lining is gentle and enjoyable for your horse, especially beneficial for those with sensitive or clipped skin. This lining adds an insulating layer to preserve body heat and imparts a glossy sheen to the horse’s coat. The 150g fiberfill filling offers the benefits of down without the drawback of odor absorption.
Designed to be slightly shorter than other rugs, it doesn’t soak up moisture. The artificial rabbit skin ensures the rug repositions itself correctly. The polyester microfiber helps the rug stay in place when layered with other rugs. It features a front closure with hook and loop fastening, and two D rings at the back for attaching a tail cord.
For optimal performance, it’s recommended to wash the under rug skin friendly once a month at 30° and avoid tumble drying.
