Tech Venice Sloped Evo Safety Stirrups
The Tech Venice Sloped Evo Safety Stirrups are a stylish, aesthetically pleasing, state of the art, safety stirrup with the widest opening on the market. Originally designed for showjumping & eventing, the Tech Venice Sloped Evo Safety Stirrups are now used around the world in many other disciplines, including dressage.
From professional riders to everyday riders, these particular stirrups are best suited to riders that prefer an inclined tread. The benefit here, is that it helps keep the heels down, whist the angled tread supports the foot and helps keep it in position.
How do the Tech Venice Sloped Evo Safety Stirrups work?
Like all the Tech Safety Stirrups in our range, the arm is hinged with a magnetic opening, that allows the foot to escape in the event of a fall. Once the foot is free from the stirrups the mobile arm of the stirrup returns back to it’s original position.
The mobile arm that is fixed to the base of the tread is joined to the stirrup ring by a magnet. As a result this prevents the stirrups from opening during work. (This was a problem many years ago, with a clicking sound from the stirrups, when the riders foot sat on the outside edge of the stirrups. Thankfully, this does not happen anymore, the safety arm only opens when a certain amount of weight is applied to the outside edge, and as a result releasing the foot.
Which Tech Venice Safety Stirrups?
Compared to the Tech Venice Evo stirrups, which have a flat tread, this model with the sloped tread, has an angled tread at 2.5 degrees. As a result this is support a better jumping position.
What are Tech Venice Safety Stirrups made from?
Made from a high quality lightweight aluminium, the grip is designed to prevent maximum adhesion to the riders foot and prevent the accumulation of mud and water. As a result this helps prevent stirrup loss during work and competition. The stirrup leather slot is designed to keep the foot in a position that is easy to maintain.
How do I look after my Tech Venice Safety Stirrups?
It is advisable to clean you Tech stirrups with only clean water. This includes the spring mechanism located under the tread. You must remove any potential foreign body, which includes sand and stones, which is often collected when riding, jumping or participating cross country. An object stuck in the safety mechanism, could prevent the opening system to work properly. We recommend to keep both the spring mechanism and the joint connecting the ring to the moving part well lubricated.
