Trust Leather 2.5 Ring Gag
The Trust Leather 2.5 Ring Gag is a soft medium flex straight bar bit with natural tanned leather wrapped and stitched around the nylon core. Vegetable tanned leather, which is also very soft is stitched around the flexible core. Trust Equestrian do not use chemicals in their tanning process.
As a result this makes the 2.5 Ring Leather Gag very safe and suitable for use with horses and humans. The soft and pleasant taste of the leather, continues to stimulate the production of saliva. As a result he saliva softens the leather and makes it more pleasant for the horse with each use.
The soft flexible mouthpiece in combination with the taste of the leather, makes the bit extremely suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth.
The design of a ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure and also creates leverage on the mouthpiece. The Trust Leather 2.5 Ring Bit is the kindest version of the gag option. The ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll, compared to that of a 3 ring gag.
