The Kentucky Horsewear Long Fly Veil Stone and Pearl is the latest edition to our growing range of horse Fly Veils. This longer design, gives the horses fly hat a stylish shape that lays flat to the horses face. Topped off with super sparkly stones and pearls, the long fly veil really stands out in a crowd in the middle of any competition ring.
Like all Fly Veils, the design also protects the horse’s ears against flies whilst riding and can be chosen in either normal or acoustic ears. Individually hand crafted, makes for a more stylish, durable and more breathable product.
The material around the ears is made from a soft stretch lycra and offers a slim fit. The soundproof or acoustic ears as they are sometimes known, are slightly thinner than other brands on the market. They remain equally as soundproof as others and should you feel your horse can still be distracted by noise, then it is worth considering the Pomm ear plugs we hold to use underneath.
A great combination of the two, for horses that are super sensitive to noise distraction.
Few last factors to be aware of, is that firstly the neck part is purposefully made longer than other brands, so that they do not slip, as they will be held in position by the bridle. Secondly the long fly veil does not have a visible logo, therefore the rider or sponsors can embroider their own logo in plain site.
Due to the delicate and detailed finish of the pearl and stone fly veils. We seriously recommend that the veil be Hand Washed Only at 30 degrees. Do Not Tumble Dry.
