Trust Leather Combination Hackamore
The Trust Leather Combination Hackamore is a bit featuring an adjustable shank and a leather mouthpiece, an excellent option for horses that reject metal bits. The leather is wrapped and stitched around a reinforced nylon core, enhancing durability and preventing breakage.
Trust Equestrian does not use chemicals in the tanning process, opting for natural methods instead. This ensures the leather is safe for both equine and human use.
This mouthpiece is particularly suited for young horses thanks to the pleasant taste. Trust Leather Bits are designed to promote salivation in horses. This softens the mouthpiece, making it more agreeable for the horse and often encouraging better contact with the bit.
Adjustable Action
The fully adjustable Trust Combination Hackamore comes with an allen key for easy modification by shifting the stoppers. Available in both short and long shank versions, the Combination Bit can exert significant control when utilized properly.
A longer shank increases nasal pressure, while a shorter one reduces it. The noseband is sheathed in soft rubber, which is gentle on the nose yet still effective in applying necessary pressure. Each hackamore includes a curb strap for fitting.
