The Cashel Crusader Horse Fly Mask is one of the original and still one of the best horse fly masks available on the market today. With over 15 years of selling this brand of fly protection, we can honestly say that the Cashel fly masks have stood the test of time.

The Cashel Crusader Fly masks are hand-made with an original and unique design that provides a great fit and is now copied by many other manufacturers around the world. All the fly masks in the Cashel Crusader Fly Mask range have three holes positioned for both the ears and forelock. As a result this provides an excellent and a secure fit on your horses head, helping it to stay on when in the field.

The Cashel fly protection range also provides shade with UV protective mesh. Suitable for fair-coloured horses that sunburn easily. The grey mesh and trim provide up to 70% UV protection.

The fly masks have a clever design of the eye darts. The darts are made in a diagonal shape and as a result, keeps the mesh well away from the eyes, making this mask safer and more comfortable for your horse.

Cashel Crusader Fly Masks are firm but flexible. This maintains shape clear of the eyes. The edges of the fly mask is lined with a soft polar fleece material. The throat fastener is also soft and has a nice thick width. This avoids the hassle of breaking ties, and it is also very comfortable for the horse.

Horses that have pink noses will benefit with the long nose variation due to being susceptible to getting burnt noses. Sun block needs to be applied every few hours; many horses end up with sore and scabby noses. The long nose version of the Cashel Crusader fly mask assists in this problem.

Excellent product and service

My Spanish horse injured his eye and part of the vet treatment process is for him to wear a flay mask which gives good protection to his eye. The Cashel mask is ideal and fits him perfectly. It is robust and gives good clearance over his eye so there is no risk of irritation. The fastening is secure which is important because he bas to wear it 24/7 for a while. He hasn’t had any rubs from the mask and his eye is healing up nicely. Service was 5 star, he was wearing his new mask less than 24 hrs after ordering it! This was such a relief in a situation when I needed it as fast as possible. I also love the free gift - so much better than the bar of chocolate so many companies give out.
