Pessoa Daisy Rowel Spurs
These Pessoa Daisy Rowel Spurs have been fitted with a blunt pastry style rowel and immovable black rubber boot grip. This grip offer great friction and therefore prevents the movement of your spurs. An added bonus is that the rubber grip will also protect your expensive riding boots.
The pastry cutter style rowel can be very effective in encouraging your horse to move. We do not advise novice riders to use these spurs.
As with all the Pessoa Spur Range, the “S” eyelets of the Horse Riding Spurs stop the spur straps from slipping through. As a result this helps to keep your spurs in the perfect position. The correct position of the spurs will result in reduced pressure points.
The Pessoa Daisy Rowel Spurs uses stainless steel and rubber. This is tough, hard wearing and does not rust. It is also pliable enough to allow your spurs to flex inwards or outwards to fit your boot. Always make sure that the rubber is in contact with your boot to provide a good grip.
Pressure spots can be painful to the rider. As a result could cause sores on the Achilles area, which could then rub on the zip. If you have ever suffered from sore or injured Achilles tendons, caused from boots or spurs rubbing then check out this revolutionary new product from Kentucky Horsewear. The Achilles Gel Sock.
If you horse should mark easily then consider using a different spur tip and our very popular spur guards. A blunt spur like the Prince Of Wales Rounded may be more suited to your horse.
Still effective, it has a blunt round tip and is without rowel. Spur guards and body bandages are permitted in British Showjumping and FEI jumping and will help a horse recover from a wound on its flank.
Pessoa Daisy Rowel Spurs are available in 20mm and 30mm.
